Hi, I have a Tourer+ subscription, but the routes that I have made are not loading on my phone. When I click on a route, it goes into a loading spinner state.
I was testing if Kurviger would be the right solution for a more extended trip that is coming up this weekend.
This is what I see on the phone… The folder (named Regular) shows up and the route names show up too. But when I click on the route, its a never ending spinner.
That is correct. I intend to use this device (an older OnePlus5) purely for offline navigation. I do not need route making on this device only display + navigation.
I do not intend to export it to another device/ app. I want to use the route that I create within the Kurviger app for navigation (Navigation when offline, I have the Tourer+ specifically for this).
That is correct, the device it offline once I had synced up over wifi.
Yes, this device does not have sim cards , only wifi
Yes, the wifi symbol is not there as this is when i get to the motorcycle and want to load the route. No active wifi.
NFC is not related to this, I agree. It just happens to be on.
I am using an older One Plus 5, purely for this. I have OSMAnd which works perfectly offline, but the route making feature is not good. So i am trying to use this instead.
I can check and post the debug data. I currently dont have access to that device till later today.
You cannot load the route from cloud unless the WiFi is active. There is no local copy of the routes that can be synchronized automatically with the cloud. You either have to load the route before going offline or you have to manually export “.kurviger” file which you can load at any time.
Also here. Offline maps yes - for saving bandwidth or when mobile data is expensive. Then you have the maps available. You can follow the planned route.
When you drive off the route, the arrow will show you the direction to the next waypoint (shaping point, via point or destination). But for recalculation, the connection to the cloud is required as well (no recalculation offline).
Right ok! Is the saving routes to the device an option that is being planned? Currently pre-loading the route or exporting sounds like a workaround that I would rather avoid. Especially on a multi-day trip.
