Shaping points missed

Hi, I was in Poland recently and realised an issue. I defined a route apart from the proposed kurviger route by setting shaping points. During the drive I missed the exact point and kurviger after gave me unclear instructuons at junctions by showing two directions to go. I was driving in a circle until I realised and moved the shaping point to my target town ( not sure how to remove a shaping point ). Is there any mean if I do not drive over exactly the shaping point, that the further routing is set to the next one or target town ?

Yes, use “Skip to WP” command from the navigation menu.

Hi @Lars11
What exactly do you mean by “showing two directions to go”?
This is how you remove a shaping point if you need that in future.

Are you sure it was a shaping point (black) and not a via point (blue) that caused a problem? If you just missed the exact shaping point during navigation, Kurviger should skip it automatically. However, you can always manually skip any waypoint by tapping the three-dot-menu and “Skip to WP” if needed, as @t00thl355 already wrote.

Yes, indeed, I meant a via point, not sure exactly what is a shaping point.

Here you can read about our waypoints and their differences.
But in short: if you just want to “shape” your route, use the black ones (shaping point). Use the blue ones (via point) only for points that you want to stop at (e.g., restaurant, sight seeing, meeting place). If you miss a via point, Kurviger tries to make sure you still get there. If you miss a shaping point, it might be just skipped. I hope that helps!
