How do you turn off the naming of the markers /
Hi, with “markers” you meen the via points?
If you use them, then there should be something why you want to go there.
You can name they and then the name you will hear.
If you only wanted to get the Route taht way, than use shaping points. They are to get youre route where you want.
They will be ignored at speech.
If I save a route in downloads (GPX) and open it again later, the route is different?
It depends…
But in general - yes, it could be different.
Your question now is diffrent to the original topic, but ok.
Please read the documentation.
Why you you use GPX?
That is only for them want to put it in diffrent Systems.
If you want to safe a file, then use “*.kurviger” !
Then the route will be exact the same
P.S.: i miss the answer from you about the first topic. Now it is ok?
Yes, thank you now it’s oke, but unfortunately that it’s not possible to turn of.
Sorry, I am clumsy with forums and topics.
When I make a route its also for my friends, and they work wit tomtom.
Again thanks for your help.
However, I want to explain my question a bit further. I am making a route of which the first 125 km is highway, then 175 km not on the highway, so through the countryside. If I save this route (GPX) and then open it again, the part of the highway has disappeared and the entire route is through the countryside ??
Thx for your respons.
Save it in the cloud or export it in the “lossless” Kurviger-Format. It makes no sense to export as gpx and re-import again in Kurviger. Gpx can be used as a exchange format. Or please send example. The import-wizard normally has only a few deviations, if at all.
thx I will try this, I will let you know.
Its works good !!
Thanks!!
There are several ways to “enforce” highway, e.g., choosing the type of route “fastest” will sometimes use highway (not guaranteed) or placing shaping points on a highway (observe the direction of the road!). Some of this information may or actually will be lost when you export the GPX, therefore the app may apply its defaults and route differently when you import the GPX. Therefore, “.kurviger” file may be a better choice. Alternatively use more shaping points and make sure they are exported to the GPX.
