It sounds like he has an Android tablet. Think of it as a very large phone or like a Chromebook. It can run Android apps without a smartphone. It is quite possible that Kurviger is not 100% compatible. I have found this to be true of other apps.

Hi all, my sound on my Sena headset is so soft that I cannot hear it clearly. I have tested it with google maps, in that app it is very loud and clear. Anyone else with the same problem? Is there a solution? Thanks in advance. Ronald

Hi, i have the same Problem ( and others ) with my S21 and Sena about is not loud enogh. Special if sombosy is talking parllel. The Speech is louder. And yes in other Apps it is different. Now i try in the setting for google speech ( there where you choosed it ) to switch “louder speech” to on. (…

Please see here, a lot of people confirmed this solved the volume issue (volume can effectively only be changed when Kurviger speaks). Try to set output channel in Kurviger to Music/Media.
