Starting Navigation "Off route"

I’m actually using V3.5.

I prefer to ride with “automatic recalculation off” due to various reasons. One is, that no network is available in some of the areas I’m riding, another that I usually check the route after a calculation and don’t want to repeat this frequently. Now I observe the following behavior:

When I’m off the route when starting the navigation, I get three options how to handle the current location to start the navigation (Start is waypoint, replace start, route from here). All of them seems to start a recalculation.

If no network connection is available, I can start in “Follow Mode”.

With the old V1.14, it was possible to start "off route” in navigation mode. As soon as I reached the route, navigation started automatically.

I’m missing this function. Am I doing something wrong or is it really not available anymore?

You get four options, not three - the fourth is the just to start the navigation without selecting any of the mentioned three buttons that recalculate the route. This way it does what you expect it to. Actually, if you are offline, you do not get those three options, as they require recalculation which is not available offline…

Follow mode is available only if no route is loaded.

Thank you for the hint. I read it always in the order from top to bottom. I first have to decide for one of the three options before starting the navigation.
