Toll avoidance by country

Is there any plan to allow setting toll avoidance by country? The current state is a bit irritating in at least two cases:

1. it ignores that motorbikes are toll free in Czech republic and Slovakia on all roads

  1. If one already has yearly vignette for e.g Switrzerland, this country is effectively a tol free, while e.g France not.

Could you please explain further what you mean by “ignores”. If there are roads tagged as toll roads, you will see it in the route information. You can then choose to avoid those or just keep your route as it is, using toll roads.

I think I understand what you mean by 2. However, currently there is no option to set any avoidance per country.

ad 1. In some countries ( Czech republic, Slovakia) motorcycles are exempted from motorways and expressways fees - effectively all Czech an Slovak roads are toll free for them. However the app does not know that and when plan journey e.g. from Poland to Austria with no tolls, it avoids Czech motorways in spite their are no toll roads for motorcycle.

Thanks for the explanation - I understand. We get our map data from OSM, so we’d have to take something like that into account additionally (if possible). We’ll see what we can do.
