Hello, I have foun a lot of topis for remote controler with android devices.

I am Using an IPhone and I am looking for an remote controler to zoom in and oud in routingmodus under IOS.

Has anybody a solution fir IOS?

Regards Matthias

It can work with IOS keyboard control, but not everything would be optimal.
The basic functions like zoom and recenter would work,
and you can even access menus and submenus like “skip”, but the underlying function did not work for me. Also it might be difficult distinguishing where the cursor is while riding.
You could try it out with a bluetooth keyboard - almost all remote controller behave like one. You need one with cursor keys and “space” keys.

Here is a video clip to get an idea what it looks like:

Thank you for that. This works, but as you mentioned it is difficult to see where the cursors is.

In the Scenic ap, you can directly map buttons to functions and you can zoom direct with + and - Button

If Scenic can do it Kurviger should be able to do it as well.

@boldtrn sound like a homework for you…

Yes, this is already on our todo list.

Let’s not mix up two different things. Remote controls work for iOS. Media buttons not as far as I know and I don’t think Scenic supports this? Just to clarify, we talk about pressing the volume button on the phone and instead of the volume, the map zoom changes.

es you are right, we are talking about two different things.

Volumecontrol to zoom like in the Android Version could be a workaround to use Medie remotes, but if apple this doesnt allows it wont work.

Best solution would be a direkt support for some remotes. Scenic uses the motivemonkey buttons.

So waiting for a solution to uses a remote control. This would be great
