Unable to paste into search

Just updated Beta version of app on Samsung S23 and I am now unable to paste into the search field. Is this only me? Appologies if this is this is posted in the incorrect place, but I am unable to find a bug report option on here or the app.

Can you post a screenshot showing the search field that you are having problems with. If you are talking about this “search field”:

That is actually a button, not a search field. You have to tap on it and then the search field opens in which the “Paste” should work. At least it does on my S10e with Android 12.

The debug information is located at the bottom of the “Settings” menu and looks like this (tap on it to copy the contents to the clipboard):

To locate the problem a bit better:

  1. Have you checked if it works in other places in Kurviger, where you could potentially paste text (e.g., waypoint names, file names, help center)?
  2. Are you able to write the text in search field and then cut or copy it or these options also do not appear?
  3. Are there any other apps that show similar behavior (paste missing)?
  4. Tried restarting the phone?

Hi, so I have tried pasting into the box after a restart and same message. However, once a I typed a random letter into the search box in the app it allowed me to paste in front of the letter? Once I had done this one time, the paste option has been restored to it’s former glory:)? Strange, but appears to have been resolved. PS no other issues with any other apps on the phone, all paste fine. Thanks, Craig.
