I know Kurviger is primarily designed for motorcycle routes, but I think you’re still missing out on some potential.
Example: I have various classic cars with different top speeds. When planning a route, it makes a huge difference whether I’m currently driving a car, a moped, or a tractor. I specifically mean issues like expressways (Kraftfahrstraßen), which I wouldn’t be allowed to drive on with a moped or tractor — but I don’t want to avoid all federal highways (Bundesstraßen) just because of that.
Google Maps has this problem too, because it also doesn’t distinguish between expressways and regular federal highways.
The moped topic (max. 60 km/h) could also be used for classic car group tours, since you usually don’t travel as fast in groups as you do solo.
It would be great if, in addition to selecting the motorcycle model, there were an option to select the vehicle’s top speed (for scheduling purposes) or an option to specifically avoid expressways in addition to highways, but not all federal highways.
Otherwise, a really great app, very good route planning. I love shaping points because I now hate via-points thanks to Google Maps (annoying clicking away, limited number).
