The last couple of weeks the volume drops as soon as I plug my headphones in. It’s down to a volume I can barely hear. The volume is turned up on the phone and it’s loud without headphones, but then drops. No problem on other apps, so what’s the solution here? I don’t like looking at the map, so I have my phone in my pocket and just go by spoken instructions. Other than that, I like the app and want to keep using it…

I assume you already tried pressing the volume up button on the device when you’re already connected to the headphones? Which device and which headphones are you referring to? It is odd, if it’s just Kurviger with this issue.
You can try switching the output channel in the app. Which one is currently set?
Have a look at this article too for how to improve the text-to-speech settings of your device: There you should also be able to amplify the speech volume.
Additional. Most headphones only increase the volume, when there is speech output. I created this route for this. Connect your headset, open this route, and start the navigation in Simulation (Start Navigation, pull drawer up, then Simation). Does it work?

First go through the docs @Kira provided to check prerequisites. Kurviger just sends “Speak this text”. Everything else is done by the phone. So the solution is in 99,99% the phone and / or headset. Let us know if this works with your Iphone/headset. Perhaps something can be added to the docs.
