I was wondering if there is a way in Kurviger to automatically sort shaping points or waypoints.
For example, if I add several points (e.g., from a list of addresses), it would be helpful if Kurviger could arrange them in the best order instead of me manually reordering them.
Is there already such a feature, or is it something that might be considered for the future?
Well it actually kind of does that if you already know your start and destination. Every time you add a point it places it somewhere on the existing route where it fits the best. Not every time it may match your expectation, so you will have to do some manual corrections anyway.
Thanks, is there a possibility to define the number of the waypoint instead of dragging and dropping. For example I want so change waypoint 35 to 2. That would help even a little
There is, but it was very difficult to find for me - tap once on the two horizontal lines instead of dragging them. The number will apear and you can change it. If you have multiple numbers open, they behave a bit unexpected (they all show the same value), but only the one you change really counts.
@ArKo_Gro, can you explain how the list of addresses look like? Is it a gpx?
If it is a gpx, then you could create a new favorite folder, import the gpx into this new folder. Whem imported, click the 3-dots and show the folder as overlay. Or - in the overlay manager, open this file as overlay directly.
When the points are shown, then you can extend the end of the route one by one. I have a folder with some special points, and it works fine for me and it is much faster than struggling with the order of waypoints.
Great, thats making it more simple! But hard to find out i understand…not self explaining, it is like a long press then it appears…But if you know it is fine. Thanks for the quick reply.
Best regards Arne
It isn`t a gpx but yout idea is good as well, make it as overlay and click the new route one by one…but the other solution is what im doing now…thanks.
