This is the feedback thread for Android Auto of the Kurviger Android App update 3.6.2. We are looking forward to your feedback!

Please note, Android Auto is unfortunately not a screen mirror. Google is very restrictive about what apps can show on the Android Auto screen. This means that at least for now, we are not able to implement every feature that is available in the regular app in Android Auto.

If you would like to request a feature or report an issue, I would kindly ask you to create a separate thread for this as it can get a bit hard to follow the discussion in one huge thread. This thread is about discussing the features that we have implemented with this update :slight_smile:

Bitte beachtet, dass Android Auto leider keine Bildschirmspiegelung ist. Google ist sehr restriktiv, was Apps auf dem Android Auto-Bildschirm anzeigen dürfen. Das bedeutet, dass wir zumindest vorerst nicht alle Funktionen, die in der regulären App verfügbar sind, in Android Auto implementieren können.

Wenn es um einen neuen Funktions-Wunsch oder einen allgemeinen Fehlerbericht geht würden wir euch bitten ein separates Thema im Forum zu öffnen, damit es in diesem Thema übersichtlich um die Änderungen dieser Version gehen kann, danke :slight_smile:

I Hope this ist the right Forum. Otherwise please transfer my statement to the right one.

After about 30 km trip I tried to skip a waypoint, but then I was not able to leave the dialog (the modal dialog with several options e.g. Exit, Petrol Station etc.) . So Kurviger was in a frozen state an could not used anymore.

Thanks for the feedback. So you used Android Auto, right? Could you skip a waypoints but simply not exit the menu, or was it completely frozen? What did you do? Was there a day/night swich when you worked on that?

→My environment: Android 16, Honda NT1100 (2025).

→I was able to navigate the focus within the screen. Only the ENT key seemed to be without any function .

→It was not complety frozen. I was stuck in the screen.

“What did you do?”

→I changed to Google Maps during the drive and continued without any break/stop.

“Was there a day/night swich when you worked on that”

→No.

Dachte erst nett , aber die Symbole sind nicht sehr
Aussagekräftig und zum verwechseln ähnlich.

3x Kreisverkehr verlassen und dann noch ohne Meterangaben

Darstellungs"fehler! nach der Installation,

aber lässt sich mit dem alten Windowstrick “beheben”

Gerät kpl Neustart dann stimmen die Symbole in AA wieder.

Wir liefern für AA auf jeden Fall nochmal einen größeren Fix in der BETA aus, da uns aktuell noch ein größere Fehler bekannt ist, der die Tage behoben wird.

Oh krass. Das haben wir in unseren Tests bisher noch nicht gesehen. Hast du irgendwas besonderes gemacht? Kam das aufeinmal? Oder Symbol fĂĽr Symbol?

Ok, but it works usually, just not in this situation? Have you tried it again at some point?

War nach dem Start dann so auf dem Carpuride , am Handy ist mir nichts aufgefallen .
Handy neustart danach automatisch gekoppelt wie gehabt und alles gut.

Ok interessant. Wir haben immer mal wieder das Problem, dass nach einem Update der App manche Dinge nicht 100% richtig funktionieren. War eventuell dann ein halb gecachter Zustand oder so, komisch, mĂĽssen wir beobachten. Falls das noch jemand sieht, bitte melden.

After a restart of the bike system everything worked fine again. As I tried to mention before, all other functions worked properly (radio, Google Maps, headset) when resp. after the problem in Kurviger occurred.
