We are happy to announce that we released version 3.0.8 of the Kurviger Beta App.

This update comes with several changes and improvements:

  • Navigation (App): Reduced battery usage during the navigation.
  • Navigation (App): Reduced delay of the GPS position while being on the route.
  • Navigation (App): Offroute-Arrow that shows to the next unvisited via point, when being off-route.
  • Navigation (App): Increased map contrast and map readability. Roads have a better visibility.
  • Navigation (App): Show direction of route during the navigation.
  • Navigation (App): Setting to switch the location service between Android and Google.
  • Navigation (App): “Then” voice instruction for turns that are close to each other. Now an instruction is spoken like “In 300m turn left, then turn right”.
  • Navigation (App): Improved voice instructions, especially in combination with Bluetooth headsets.
  • Kurviger Liberty: Housenumbers are shown on high zoom levels.

In order to keep this thread clean, I would like to ask you to provide feedback in the discussion thread for the release . For specific issues or feature requests, I would like to ask you to create a separate thread. You can find more about the current BETA state in our documentation. It might take a few hours until the new update shows up in Google Play.

Wir freuen uns, euch mitteilen zu können, dass wir Version 3.0.8 der Kurviger Beta App veröffentlicht haben.

Dieses Update bringt einige Änderungen und Verbesserungen mit sich:

  • Navigation (App): Geringerer Batterieverbrauch während der Navigation.
  • Navigation (App): Geringerer Nachlauf der GPS-Position während der Navigation.
  • Navigation (App): Offroute-Pfeil, der zum nächsten nicht besuchten Zwischenziel zeigt, wenn du abseits der Route bist.
  • Navigation (App): Erhöhter Kartenkontrast und bessere Lesbarkeit der Karte. Straßen sind nun besser sichtbar.
  • Navigation (App): Anzeige der Fahrtrichtung auf der Route während der Navigation.
  • Navigation (App): Einstellung zum Umschalten des Positions-Dienstes zwischen Android und Google.
  • Navigation (App): „Dann“ Sprachanweisung für Abbiegungen, die nahe beieinander liegen. Jetzt wird eine Anweisung wie „In 300m links abbiegen, dann rechts abbiegen“ gesprochen.
  • Navigation (App): Verbesserte Sprachanweisungen, besonders in Kombination mit Bluetooth-Headsets.
  • Kurviger Liberty: Hausnummern werden auf hohen Zoomstufen angezeigt.

Um diesen Thread aufgeräumt zu halten, würden wir euch bitten,Feedback im Diskussions-Thread für diese Version zu geben. Bei Anfragen oder Problemen zu einem speziellen Feature würde ich euch bitten einen extra Beitrag anzulegen. Informationen zum aktuellen Beta-Status findet ihr in unserer Dokumentation. Es kann ein paar Stunden dauern bis das Update in Google Play angezeigt wird.
