Yes, the TTS tries to pronounce it in Danish.
A better translation is ‘viapunkt’
That is like the english “Via point”.
The english word we need to translate here is the “Waypoint”.

The direct translation would be ‘vejpunkt’.
TomTom uses the same translation

It’s fine with me, but I think it would be more natural for me if it was ‘viapunkt’, because I’m using the feature to drag a route in a certain direction.

Maybe we’re talking about two different things.

There are 3 terms:
- Via points
- Shaping points
- Waypoints (all of them)
For the voice guidance we use the term waypoint in all languages.
(as it is a term more familiar to users)
The TTS in Danish just pronounce it very strange. It would be nice if you could promote this word to be customizable for every language
