Button „Straßensperrung umfahren“ wird dringend benötigt

One workaround that I have seen in another Forum is that people create collections of road blockage points (e.g., in Basecamp) and export them as a GPX file. Then they import them as POI in a navigation app, make them visible and then route manually around them. Of course, these do not have to be road blockages, it could be anything that I would like my route to avoid. The purpose is to make it visible.

Solution proposal:

  • in Kurviger, we already have the ability to manage our own POIs in Favourites.
  • a dedicated folder “Points of Avoidance” (POA) could be added to Favourites, where we could manage our own set of road blockages (or roads we just don’t like to ride)
  • an additional option “POA” could be added in “Avoidances” menu. When selected, this would cause the Router to try to avoid the points in this folder.
  • to avoid undesired avoidance, the App should visualize the POAs that currently affect the route on the map. Alternativelly, all defined POAs could be automatically displayed if POA is activated as avoidance criterion.

This solution would be effective mainly for the planning and recalculation during the navigation. Additionaly it could be coupled with the already available “Block the Road” button that could (optionally) add POAs in the “Points of Avoidance” folder and thus be effective until the points are removed by the user and not just until the navigation ends.

Is there already a possibility to vote for this kind of feature in another topic?
