Yes, this is definitely an important missing feature!
@boldtrn Any news on this topic? Almost the same number of votes as CarPlayâŚ
No news right now, we will let you know when something changes.
Hello, I would like to also voice a strong support for this feature. It is, in fact, one of the three remaining features for which I also have to use Calimoto app while riding.
I often ride a long distance and donât have time to stop. Some parts of the road are great and interresting, some not. So i mark the the great parts with âhighlightâ. If it is really good, I make multiple âhighlightsâ on the same road. This signifies the particular road is really good. If the road has no highlights, it was boring or in a bad shape.
When Iâm back to home, I review these highlights and save sections of the path I travelled to my folders in Kurviger.
My idea is to use Favorites function in Kurviger for this. In settings, I could designate a particular Favorites folder and during navigation (or in Follow mode) there would be a button in stop/pause popup to mark a favourite. And it would simply save such favorite without further questions to the designated folder, perpahs with a date and time as a name or something similar. It should not require me to enter any text etc. while riding and just save it.
I believe this would not be that difficult to implement as the support for Favorites is already there and itâs âjustâ about one extra setting (pick one of the existing Favorites folders) and one button.
Itâs really annoying to have to switch nav apps while riding. Please, implement some way of doing this soon!
Thank you.
Just as an idea how it could be implemented:
Two clicks and a favorite with date/time-stamp is created in the first favorite folder.
Hi community,
Kurviger is my main nav since 2 months and I am getting more and more used to it.
What I havenât figured yet is how to best set tags along the route while riding.
Say you see a great spot along the road to make a stop with a group of bikers, or you just found an offroad path or you just want to remind yourself about a nice curvy road through the wood.
Mostly gone and forgotten until the next stop.
Maybe you have found a way or strategy how to accomplish that.
Thanks,
Michael
I have moved your post to the existing topic
Thanks Viola, makes sense.
And I agree with others in this thread.
Not having to step out of navigation to create favs or new waypoints would improve usability significantly.
Want to be able to mark points of interest while navigating.
Have now driven 7300 km during a 3 week period from Sweden to Spain. Have only navigated using Kurviger. Have missed being able to easily mark nice places with one click when you have passed them. My OsmAnd+ has the option.
This wish is known and is on Kurvigerâs list. something is sure to come.
@Viola - isnât following topic with voting more appropriate for this post from OlaA? I understand it is about marking the nice places you see along the route, rather than changing the route (adding WPs).
