Ich bin die letzten Tage mit Kurviger in den Bergen unterwegs und dabei ist mir aufgefallen, dass die Höhenangabe bei den Tafeln um einiges weniger ist als bei Kurviger. z. B. Vasicpass, Tafel 1611m, Kurviger 1662m.
Warum ist das so?
Servus, das liegt nicht an Kurviger, sondern an Deinem Handy. Ich habe auch - je nach Handy - einen Höhenversatz von ca. 40m.

Korrekt, Kurviger kann nur das anzeigen, was der GPS-Sensor deines Gerätes uns zur Verfügung stellt 
Das kann man aber manchmal auch ein bisschen verbessern, probier zum Beispiel mal GPS Status aus:
Das lädt sogenannte A-GPS Daten runter, was manchmal helfen kann dein Gerät zu kalibrieren. Außerdem kann helfen das Gerät wie in einer liegenden 8 ein bisschen zu drehen
Was natürlich auch sein kann, ist dass das Schild nicht 100% korrekt war 
Der GPS Sensor geht davon aus das die Erde eine perfekte Kugel ist.
Da dies nicht der Fall ist gibt es einen Korrekturwert für jeden Standort.
Kann man in GPS Status einstellen.
Für Mitteleuropa kann man ca. 30m abziehen. Dann kommt es ungefähr hin.
Es gibt Navigationsapps die das auch können.
Ich meine so eine Einstellung gibt es bei OSMAND, bin mir aber nicht sicher.
Mir persönlich reicht die Anzeige wie sie jetzt ist.

If not we’d need a more detailed error report from you please, like: where did this happen? Do other apps show your altitude more precisely than Kurviger?

A Button into kurviger correct yes or no. Or a field for correction (Meter) and for everybode all is ok.
Allways count is about this is possible, but only a workaround. Same with such an App!
Thank you for your information, unfortunately this does not help me because the route recording also saves the altitude of the Kurviger app, I have an accurate altimeter but it only measures for itself not for the Kurviger App

ich habe mir diese App nun runtergeladen weil mein Kurviger etwa 50 mtr Höhe zuviel zeigt. Diese App stimmt um ein paar Meter - aber wie bekomme ich die Höhe dieser App in die Kurviger Routenaufzeichnung rein ?

Those are some wide variations. I do know OsmAnd is off compared to signage along a route in the Italian’s Alps. If I remember correctly it was slightly higher than the signage by about 50 meters or so. At the time I thought it could be gps satellite errors although I have a tablet with better than average satellite reception.
Wir haben das Thema weiter auf dem Schirm und werden das in einer zukünftigen Version fixen.
GPS STATUS zeigt korrekte Höhe, KURVIGER zeigt Höhe plus 50 - das widerspricht der Aussage, dass Kurviger die Handydaten übernimmt. Wenn das so ist, dann braucht ihr doch nur einen frei wählbaren OFFSET einbauen.

Nein, das bedeutet, dass GPS Status nicht direkt die Handydaten nutzt, sondern eine Korrektur der Höhe durchführt. Das steht bei uns weiter auf der Todo-Liste.

I don’t think so, it could. Google’s location service is not open source, so I can’t know for sure.
