High contrast map "Liberty" also for planning mode in app and for website

In some cases the readability of this map is better than default “Kurviger Liberty” map.
Therefore I would like to use it also for app planning mode and website.

And - if available on mapillion - I would implement that option also on gpxshaping.de.

Remark @moderators : I am not allowed to create a thread in “New features” - therefore I put it here, because it concerns app and website.

Sorry, I don’t catch the point. Liberty map is already available, but I could not find a ‘high contrast’ version?

Ich verstehe diesen Post leider gar nicht. Worum geht es hier? Eine Map für hohen Kontrast auch für die Navigation wäre wünschenswert.

I didn’t get it either.

According to Mapillion’s website, their tile server offers two styles:

  • OSM Bright
  • Kurviger Liberty

and both are available in the app (planning mode) and web-based planner.
@rumbrummer: can you clear it up, please?

In May 2023 there was a high contrast map introduced in app, but that map was used in navigation mode only. Therefore my proposal.
Remark: A short search in the forum for “high contrast map” shows you the anouncement;

  • Navigation (App): Increased map contrast and map readability. Roads have a better visibility.
