I may have altered it in Basecamp. I honestly can’t remember. It was originally planned in Kurviger and exported to GPX

Thanks for sharing the file, yes I think the file was altered, we will see if we can find a good workaround for that.

Im Tutorial wurde bislang 1 Wegepunkt / 10 km empfohlen. Die Automatik setzt deutlich mehr. Bei den von mir getesteten GPX-Dateien war es 1 WP / 3-7 km.

Genau, also die Automatik setzt so viele Wegpunkte wie nötig sind (bzw. nötig scheinen). Hast du eine Route aus Kurviger mit den selben Routen-Einstellungen dann werden manchmal gar keine gesetzt, weil es direkt perfekt passt.

Das kommt meiner Arbeitsweise entgegen. Ich habe lieber mehr WP und lösche (zusätzlich zur neuen Automatik) kritische WP (z. B. im Bereich von Kreuzungen u. Kreisverkehren).

Du kannst übrigens weiterhin WP im Import löschen über den Rechtsklick und dann an anderer Stelle hinzufügen. Aber ja, ich stimme dir zu, dass der neue Import einen anderen Ansatz nimmt, denn wir wollen ja eher zu weniger als zu mehr Punkten, das war beim alten GPX Import oft ein Problem, dass auf eine 100km Route 200 SPs gesetzt wurden. Das sorgt dann nur für Probleme.

Ich hoffe der neue Import funktioniert dann auch gut für deine Dateien, falls nicht teile gern deine Datei

This new update messed up importing.
I had no issues before this. I can not import TET track anymore. 114km turns out to 2281km route and is all around the map. It thinks that all those extra notes on GPX file are track points(fuel station, fireplace etc for example) and will make route to all of those.

Thanks for the feedback, I can verify this behaviour, we will look into this.

You are right, the GPX waypoints are creating an issue here. So in the meantime you can remove these before uploading the GPX.

Thanks again for reporting this issue. We have introduced an option that you can select to ignore the waypoints during the import. This should solve the issue you reported. Can you confirm or did we miss something?

From my point of view the import still doesn’t work properly for tracks. In case of importing tracks like TET, ACT or own tracks (like below) there are still differences between the original track and the calculated route. Even when I adjust the avoidances after importing the track the route calculated is still different:

It would be great to switch of any kind of routing for imported tracks and just follow the imported track as is. Thanks!

Yes, we don’t offer a track navigation yet. We match the track to the road network, if we can’t find a suitable road, we can’t calculate a route there.
