This post is about the volume setting in the phone. Please check the individual posts.
If after that you still have the problem, please try to explain it in more detail. Remember, … we don’t have your phone in hand and don’t know what settings are set.
Whoa… You moved my post into this thread, not me! My problem is not with the volume of my phone, it is that I do not receive any voice instructions when connected to Bluetooth whether or not my screen is on. If that is not the subject of this thread then it is your error in moving my post!
For me it seems, the problem in your case is not to hear any voice instructions. In Planning in the app there are no voice instructions. In navigation there are voice instructions only when it is selected in the navigation settings.
Until now we don’t know your settings in the app and of the device. Moving the post was a reaction and try to help you, even when there is low information about the settings in your device and app. To help you we need more information. Sometimes screenshots give info, that we can help you.
Hi Toffel, bin erst jetzt dazu gekommen die Einstellungen vorzunehmen! Hat soweit erstmal funktioniert das ich, wie Du schon geschrieben hast, etwas suchen mußte aber nun die Lautstärkebegrenzung deaktiviert habe. In der Simulation höre ich die Ansagen in einer sagen wir mal fast aktzeptabelen Lautstärke. Muß dann jetzt mal testen wie gut es sich bei höheren Geschwindigkeiten verhält bzw. ob es funktioniert wenn ich zusätzlich eine Meshverbindung habe und mich unterhalte. Werden dann weitere Info geben! Aber vielen Dank erst mal für Deinen Tip!

Ich habe nochmal eine allg. Frage zum ganzen Thema Einstellung und Anpassungen!
Immer wieder wird bei Fragen zu der Problematik nach Infos und näheren Beschreibungen gefragt. Ich verstehe bei der ganzen Sache nicht, warum man diese braucht! Sollte es nicht so sein, das man im Handy 2-3 Einstellungen, 2-3 Einstellungen im Sena oder anderen Headset´s machen sollte und dann muß das doch gehen! Woher kommte das und warum wurde das ganze vom K2 zum K3 verändert? Danke im voraus.
Das ist ganz einfach, die Sprachausgabe funktioniert normalerweise ohne weitere Einstellungen. Einfach so, du musst gar nichts einstellen. Manchmal kommt es zu Problemen, die bekannten Probleme sind hier beschrieben: Ich höre keine Sprachausgabe / Abbiege-Anweisungen [Kurviger Knowledgebase]
Wenn es dann immer noch nicht funktioniert, dann liegt ein bisher nicht bekanntes Problem vor. Und dann muss man eine systematische Problemlösung machen. Da wir nicht wissen warum es bei deinem Gerät zu Problemen kommt. Man kann in Android viel einstellen und verstellen. Es ist über die Ferne nicht möglich Probleme zu erraten. Daher muss man als Fragesteller versuchen strukturiert eine Fehlerbeschreibung zu geben.

Hört sich ja alles verständlich an, nur wenn der K1, der K2, Maps, Calimoto, und auch der Cruiser alle ohne Probleme mit Samsung S20 und 30k, sowie Xiaomi Mi10 und Sena RT1 funktionieren, woher sollen dann Einstellungsprobleme kommen?
Und nachdem ich durch den Wechsel von Sena SF4 zum Sena RT1 nun auch den Bluetooth Kanal ganz frei habe, dürfte das doch nur besser werden, aber auch das nicht!
Und @ Hobbyfahrer, wenn Du mir schreibst “Deine Bilder von deiner Konfig zeigen leider die wichtigsten Einstellungen in den Senas nicht an” von welchen Einstellungen redest Du? Ich habe keine anderen gefunden die wichtig sind!
Und ich denke bzgl. Bluetooth habe ich Dich schon richtig verstanden, und deshalb habe ich das RT1 gekauft damit der Bluetooth Kanal frei ist und ich über das Mesh kommunizieren kann!

Amplify using different channels
For example if you want to listen to music while navigating, you can choose the output channel for the navigation. Go to the Settings → Navigation → Voice guidance output, and select the output channel. Your options are: media, phone, and notification. You could set it to phone. This allows you to modify the volume for each channel separately.
This does not yet exist for the K3 Beta app.
The Beta Version only has phone and media. Als long as the intercom is not connectet to another person, the navigation instructions can be heard. The minute we connect our intercoms there is no sound left. Any idea how to solve the problem? Greetings, Anbea
Yes with an intercom that has a free Bluetooth chip that is not occupied by the intercom.
This is not a problem of Kurviger.
Hi, thanks for your help. I’m working with the older full version of Kurviger und there the problem doesn’t show. I can use notifications for speech and that works, but the beta Version doesn’t have that option.
Both mine and my partner’s intercom are from Sena, though in case of my partner he has a Schubert SC1 intercom, that is based on Sena. Anyway, how can I find out, if an intercom has a chip not occupied by the intercom?

Hallo, habe mich jetzt mehrere Stunden bemüht, Navigationsansagen und Kommunikation mit einem zweiten Helm zum Laufen zu bringen. Leider umsonst. Mit K2 keine Probleme. Das Intercom ist ein X-com von Nexx und kommt von Sena. Sobald der zweite Helm verbunden wird ist keine Navigationsansage mehr möglich,

Keine Ahnung mit was das von Sena baugleich ist aber aufgrund des Bluetooth-Standards muss das schon recht alt sein und auf dem 10er basieren.
Wenn eine aktive Intercom-Verbindung besteht, ist es technisch nicht möglich, dass die Naviansagen über A2DP zu hören sind, da dieses eine niedrige Priorität hat und das Intercom-Gespräch nicht unterbricht.
Wird die Ansage aber über HSP/HFP übertragen, wird das Intercom-Gespräch hart unterbrochen, da das Sena Gerät denk, es kommt ein Anruf rein. Anrufe haben immer die höchste Priorität.
Derzeit kann leider in der K3 das Protokoll (noch) nicht ausgewählt werden. Es soll aber kommen und das bedeutet, leider noch warten.

Nein, Naviansagen nur zu einem Helm, Kommunikation zwischen zwei Helmen.

I found an issue during my last trip. The voice prompts are very low sound level also if the phone and Sena volume is on max.
I use the Schuberth SC10UA which is a Sena with latest software and the Samsung-SM-G780G (S20 FE). For music I used the Amazon Music app version 23.10.1. The music is loud but the voice prompts are not. I had to look onto the phone. Which source are the sound prompts are they media, notifications or system? My phone is normaly set to vibration only and media full.
