Yes. It took several hours for it to appear in Google Play. Unfortunately this update still doesn’t have the every-4mi/6km upcoming audio turn warning.

-mit der Strasse-sperren-Funktion komme ich bis her noch nicht klar. Die paar mal wenn ich sie bei Sperrungen nutzen wollt, kam immer ein blödsinniger Entfernungsvorschlag. Wahrscheinlich verstehe ich die Funktion immer noch nicht ganz.
-Zur Perfektionierung der Kurviger-App hab ich noch einen Vorschlag / Wunsch:
das “Entlang der Route”- Menü erweitern auf mehrere POI (also Übernachtungen, Gaststätten, Supermärkte/Lebensmittel usw.)
Interessant ist das für aktuelle “Bedürfnisse” während der Fahrt, ich denke nicht an die Planung, da kann man das ja in Ruhe raussuchen.

If I import a route in portrait mode and then rotate the phone to put it in landscape mode, the route disappears. If I import the route in landscape mode and rotate the phone to put it in portrait mode the route also disappears. This is a .kurviger route. I see this as being very problematic. My cheap, obscure phone is a REVVL V+5G running Android V12.

Thanks for reporting this, there seems to be indeed an issue when importing .kurviger files. It doesn’t happen with .gpx files, we will investigate this issue.

As a quickfix, you can use the ...-Menu and the route history to load the route again.

Ich hab mir jetzt die Doku angesehen und (vermutlich) verstanden wie es geht. Zumindest weiss ich jetzt, dass man die Entfernung der Sperre auch rückwärts wählen kann! (die letzten Anzeigen waren immer viel zu weit entfernt zB: “in 15 km” obwohl ich vor dem -Schild stand oder ähnlich)
Ich werde das noch beim Fahren testen… DANKE !!!

Interessant. Ich habe gedacht, die Sperre wird initial immer direkt vor mir platziert. Ist das nicht so gewollt bzw sinnvoll? In der Regel weißt man wo die Sperre ist, erst wenn man unmittelbar davor ist.

das dachte ich auch, vor allem mit meiner seehr langjähriger Erfahrung mit fast allen mobilen Auto-Navis. Anscheinend wurde die Kurviger-Umfahrung anders gestaltet/programmiert. Ich schau mal in der Praxis wie ich damit klar komme. Zum Glück benötige ich sie nicht oft, aber dadurch kann ich sie auch nicht genügend testen. Vielleicht simuliere ich in Zukunft ja auch mal eine Sperrung…

Ich hatte das vorher noch nie gesehen.
Edit: ich weiss nicht sicher ob das auf der Route oder neben der Route passiert ist.
Werde nächstes Mal besser aufpassen.

Thanks for reporting this, there seems to be indeed an issue when importing .kurviger files. It doesn’t happen with .gpx files, we will investigate this issue.

What I noticed using the …menu and the route history is that once the route is recalled from history I can change the display orientation all I want and the route is preserved. It only exhibits the route deleting action right after the .kurviger route is imported. For any route recalled from the history the display works as expected. For any route imported it doesn’t.

Das ist auch eigentlich so. Habe ich bisher auch noch nicht anders gesehen. Mir würden gerade nur exotische Fälle mit Schleifen in der Route oder so einfallen, wo die Stelle vor einem entweder 100m vor der Schleife oder 15km nach der Schleife entfernt ist.

Falls das reproduzierbar ist @OsCar, bitte mit Beispielroute und mehr Infos einen eigenen Beitrag aufmachen.

Yes, this issue only occurs when importing .kurviger files, we have already identified the source for the issue and will be releasing a bug fix for 3.5.1 before going into production (right now we are still in BETA for 3.5.1).

If you select “Skip to WP” and end the navigation without exiting the “Skipping”, the next time you start the navigation, you will be automatically in the “Skipping” menu. This happens even if you load a new route in between.

Not a big issue, but probably also not the intended behavior.

How about a timeout - let me say 10 seconds from last click - for all submenus (gas station, block, skip). Just an idea for unintentionally clicks, you would have to do nothing.

Not sure if that is always the best option - I think this might be annoying if are talking with your buddies while being stopped and discussing if you should go to the fuel station in 20 or 50 km and the app closes your search.

Oh another thing, the speed when in follow mode is in km/h even though it is set up in mph and when doing an actual route it shows mph.

When importing a route from gpx, immediately starting the navigation, pausing the navigation, then the imported route is gone.

This does not happen, when you save the route before starting the navigation.

I think it is a rare situation …

Wie weit ist eigentlich der Stand “Anzeige konfigurieren” generell. Ich hätte gerne die Möglichkeit, dass man nur die Zahlen hat ohne ein Feld wo sie eingebettet sind. Das war das Thema “Transparenz”.
